Bacado Skillet

This post is from the same restaurant, Eggcellent Cafe, as my last post. The last blog I had showed what my sister got for breakfast, and this post will be what I got for breakfast. I ordered the bacado skillet with hash browns instead of potatoes. The skillet included two eggs how you want them, and I chose over easy because I like when the eggs are runny. It also had bacon, avocado, and pepper jack cheese. Overall the skillet was so good! The eggs were cooked perfectly and blended very well when I mixed it all together. I did not have to add salt or pepper to the dish but it would always elevate it if I did. I will go back and get this same meal in the future, but I may try it with the potatoes instead of the hash browns (they have the best breakfast potatoes). This is something you should for sure try if you like bacon and avocado!

  1. Oh wow! I always feel like I have to add salt to eggs, no matter what, so now I'm interested in trying these eggs based on the fact that you didn't feel like you had to add any! The picture always makes it look excellent! Thank you for the review, will definitely have go to check this place out.

  2. Loved the review and loved that you included what you would order different next time. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day and egg-based dishes are my favorite for breakfast. I’m curious if the hash browns were in a patty style or in a shredded style. Although I’m not a fan of bacon, I’d like to try if they have Turkey bacon! - Valerie.
