I've decided to write my blog on food that I eat whether it be from a restaurant or meals that I make myself. This weekend I took a trip to Iowa City. Last night we had dinner at Marquee and get a salad and pizza. The salad was called the panzanella salad, it was very average tasting and the soppressta in it was very prominent. The pizza that we got was called the Falco and was delicious. It included red sauce, red onion, breadcrumb, garlic, basil, pork sausage, and parmigiano. The pizza came out all wonky with the way it was cut, but the taste made up for it. The pizzas are wood fire baked and that helped bring it to the next level. Here is a picture of how the pizza came out, caused a few laughs but we ended up enjoying it a lot!
That pizza looks so good! It does look like they cut it kind of strangely, but I'm glad the taste made up for it. I've never heard of that restaurant before but will definitely check it out if I'm ever in that area.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost as if this blog was meant for me because I could eat pizza everyday and never get tired of it so I'm always looking for new places to try out! The way the pizza is cut is hilarious, and honestly part of the charm. I know I have some family in Iowa so I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for this spot. Can't wait to see even more reviews from you!

I have a couple friends in Iowa so next time I am their I might have to take them to this spot and check it out! Im glad it tasted good and that it made up for the looks. Looking forward to future posts from you!
